I decided to cut out the rest of chapter 1 as it was much unneeded and boring. Please do take in to account that I do not plan my stories. I do not know myself what will happen in chapter 4. Apart from the plot and a few other things that the story is about, i do not know anything. Here it is:
Rather quickly James had been hauled onto his paws, his arms bound with rough rope which cut into his fur. He was then dragged through shrubbery, chucked over fences and pushed through mud, for hours on end.
He was still trying to work out what had happened when he was pushed one last time through a bush.
James' heart skipped a beat when he came out on the other side to view a whole village disguised by the thicket he had been pushed through.
A score of log houses towered above, each around their own tree about twenty feet in the air. All sorts of animals and strange beasts were climbing down hand made rope ladders which dangled form the doors of the tree houses. All sorts of contraptions had been made to get across from tree to tree: simple bridges, zip-wires and so many more!
A beast, which looked like a bear with a long tail, was quietly conversing with Ringal and occasionally pointing at James. It had what resembled a crown, and blue face paints which were drawn in confusing swirls and patterns on his cheeks and forehead. Finally the bear came over and inspected James, sometimes poking and pulling fur.
James managed a small stammer, "wh-who a-a-are you?"
Unexpectedly, the bear stood up to it's full height and boomed, "I am Logu, shaman and priest here. Do you remember who you are?"
"James... James..." James who? Why couldn't he remember his second name?
"Do you remember what you were?"
"A person." An eruption of laughter echoed around the camp.
"I see, you need rest, a journey through a black hole can really take the energy out of you." The Logu reached into a pouch attached to his belt and pulled hot some dust, sprinkling it over James his voice went quiet. "Rest, go to sleep." Everything faded, and for the second time, the world went black.
Logu turned and signalled to some men to pick him up and bring him, when James woke up, Logu would tell him the truth.
